- A fast-moving asteroidal object has been independently dis-
- covered at Palomar by J. Mueller (Oct. 3), on a plate taken by C.
- Brewer and herself with the Oschin Schmidt telescope, and by C.
- Shoemaker (Oct. 6), on films taken by herself, E. M. Shoemaker, and
- D. H. Levy with the 0.46-m Schmidt:

- T. Kato and T. Takata, Department of Astronomy, Kyoto Universi-
- ty, report that CCD photometry with the Ouda 0.60-m reflector re-
- vealed two superhumps at Oct. 18.445 and 18.536 UT (amplitude 0.14
- mag in V), confirming the SU UMa nature of this object.
